We purchased the Pet-Safe 300 as a last resort after reading the reviews on your website. We have a two year old beagle, 18 months at that time, and had made one too many chases down the "doggy lane" (center line of a busy state highway we live on) after an adventurous pooch. I set the flags up the day we got our unit, walked our dog on a leash pulling her toward the house when the collar signaled, and allowed her to get just two little tingles on the lowest setting. The next day I let her out and watched from our deck as she responded to the beep before getting a correction and she has progressed to the point in just six months that we now let her out at night or first thing in the morning without the collar and she has always respected her known boundaries! The greatest test of all occurred one morning when a young fawn, still in spots, was surprised by us walking onto the deck at daybreak, ran across the yard with the beagle in hot pursuit just 10 feet behind until she reached her boundary and skidded to a stop while the fawn escaped. I could not imagine anything short of a stout rope holding a dog back from sight running wild game until I witnessed this!
Even after reading all the rave reviews on your site I still had reservations about the short training time expressed by all. Let me tell anyone else procrastinating about this purchase...DO IT NOW!!! You can't imagine the peace of mind that this product will give you and the enjoyment your pet will get from being able to explore their territory unshackled. Our only regret is that this wasn't around for gone-but-not-forgotten pets years ago.

2 years. Our dog is a 50 pound high strung blue heeler
and she hears the warning beep and instantly steps back
in her boundary. When the collar is off and she is in

my gosh!, I got the Pet Safe Wireless Fence for my 9 month
old Golden Retriever monster! Words can't explain how
happy we are! One 10 minute session with him on a leash

I just wanted to write my own testimonial for our Petsafe Wireless Fencing. I have two little terriers that love to chase any and all of the many forms of wild life that surround our rural property. Instant Fence Layout Information
The signal field is adjustable from
a 15' to 90 foot radius from the transmitter
(30' to 180 foot diameter). The shape
of the signal is in a perfect circle
and this shape cannot be altered. The
range of the Pet Safe Instant Fence
can be increased by using two or more
transmitters. This creates multiple
intersecting circles; two transmitters
would create a boundary in a shape similar
to the MasterCard logo, a figure 8.
The signal is cancelled where the circles
intersect, allowing the pet access to
the entire area. The transmitters can
be located a maximum of 150 feet apart
and each transmitter must be out of
the weather; they cannot get wet. An
additional transmitter would create
a boundary that is up to 180 feet wide
and up to 230 feet long.
For yards with more than 72"
of Elevation change in containment area:
Pet Safe's new Instant Fence throws
a field about 72" in height. If you
yard falls off more then 72" in the
containment area, you will need a second
transmitter. Locate one transmitter
on the high side, and one transmitter
on the lower side to allow the dog to
use the whole area with out receiving
a correction. The dogs receiver collar
must be in contact with the wireless
signal thrown by the transmitter at
all times. If the collar loses contact
with the transmitter signal the collar
sends a correction to the dog thinking
the dog has left the containment area.
